Do you take custom orders?

At this time, I can take custom orders for capes only. I may be able to make a custom gown depending on work schedule, so it never hurts to message me through Etsy and ask.

Do you make or rent plus size gowns?

Unfortunately, I am not able to afford a plus sized mannequin at this time to make plus sized gowns. The mannequins are around $350 and I cannot justify the expense since I don’t make enough from cape sales or rentals to cover all of my expenses. If there is high enough demand and I can save enough from my little hobby business, I will buy a mannequin and begin making plus sized gowns.

Do you take custom orders for wings?

Until the materials I use are manufactured using sustainable, plant-based plastics, I will not be making wings to sell. I feel a lot of earth guilt looking at the pile of rubbish after finishing a few pairs of wings.

What is your return policy?

All sales are final once shipped. If any damage during shipping, please send photos and we can work it out. Custom orders are always final because I will have spent money on materials.

Do you ship outside the USA?

Not currently because of taxes and all sorts of shenanigans I don’t have time to deal with. However, if you have a trusted friend in the USA, you can have them order something and then ship it to you.

What is your wait time for a custom order?

A gown takes 60+ hours start to finish, depending on dyeing time, beadwork and if the fabric decides to cooperate. A cape takes about 4 hours start to finish depending dyeing. Expect about 2 weeks for a custom cape. If I accept a custom gown order, please expect it to take about 6-8 weeks since I work full time in a demanding field.

Will you take responsibility for wear and tear and damages?

As with most other purchased apparel, I am not responsible for damages or wear and tear. However, I will eventually post a video (instagram) on how to do simple fixes on the gowns and cape edges if they begin to fray, a flower gets pulled off, etc.

“May I please rent a gown for a photoshoot or ball?”

Yes, photographers and fairies may rent my gowns, capes and headpieces for photoshoots. I’m currently not renting out the wings unless you’re picking the gown up from me directly in the DFW area. Please see my rental page!

“Will you waive the $35 shipping fee if I pick up the gown and drop it off?”

Yes, if you are renting the gown in the DFW area and picking it up directly from me, I will waive the shipping/handling fee.
